Optimax Hair Skin Nails
The first ready-to-drink food supplement for the well-being of hair, skin and nails
Hair is, with nails and skin, the mirror of our nutritional and emotional state; when we are sick, they are sick too. If you then think about air pollution, the use of aggressive hygiene and beauty products and the physiological processes of ageing, you see how many are the real enemies of our appearance.
A balanced, varied diet and a healthy lifestyle support the activity and physiological renewal of our cells, and of course nature can also help: various plant extracts, as well as vitamins and minerals, support our organism, giving our skin a healthy appearance, our hair vitality and our nails strength.
The active ingredients
of the formula
Marine Collagen hydrolyzed
Collagen is one of the most important proteins in the body, playing a key role in the structure and function of organs and tissues such as skin, cartilage and muscle tissue.
Properties and indications: Marine Collagen is considered the noblest of the collagen types available, its superior quality being due to its high concentration in certain key amino acids, such as glycine, proline, hydroxyproline, lysine and hydroxylysine. It is the most soluble, digestible and the most easily assimilated by the body.
Hyaluronic Acid
It is a substance naturally present in the body, both in the skin and in cartilage, the eye, tendons and synovial fluid.
Properties and indications: is a valuable component of the skin, giving it moisture and firmness, counteracting the formation of wrinkles and keeping joints and cartilage functional. The hyaluronic acid naturally present in our bodies tends to decrease with age and is subject to disappearance with age. Therefore, a supplement containing adequate concentrations of hyaluronic acid, collagen and other supportive active ingredients can be a valuable aid, both for joint wellbeing and to support skin hydration, keeping the skin firmer and brighter.
Horsetail (Equisetum arvense L.)
Glyceric ExtractHorsetail has been used for medicinal purposes since Roman and Greek antiquity.
Parts used: the aerial parts of the plant are used, rich in active ingredients and minerals.
Properties: is rich in mineral salts (around 20%), including silicon, potassium and calcium, which give Equisetum its remineralising properties. Horsetail stimulates and tones the scalp and thus promotes hair growth.
Indications: The presence of organic silicon makes horsetail an important remedy for brittle hair and nails.
Bamboo (Bambusa vulgaris Schrad.)
Glyceric ExtractBamboo is a natural source of silicon in organic form, which is more easily absorbed than inorganic silicon.
Parts used: the germ is the part of the plant where the main nutrients are concentrated.
Properties: promotes collagen synthesis, promotes proper bone, ligament and tendon formation.
Indications: helps increase hair growth. It also promotes nail growth and is beneficial for the skin, increasing its resistance and sebum secretion.
Millet (Panicum miliaceum L.)
Glyceric ExtractMillet has always been considered a useful food for the beauty of hair, eyelashes, skin, teeth and nails.
Parts used: the fruits, which are also used in common nutrition, are rich in nutrients.
Properties: fibre, vitamins and silicic acid are present, making millet useful for cardiovascular health and for the beauty of skin and hair. The silicic acid contained in millet can strengthen nails and hair, as it strengthens their structure.
Indications: a valuable remedy for restoring vigour to worn-out and brittle hair and weak nails.
Zinc
Zinc is a component of numerous enzyme complexes involved in the metabolism of proteins, lipids, carbohydrates and nucleic acids. It is also essential for the proper functioning of several hormones, including thyroid hormones, insulin, sex hormones and growth hormone. Insufficient intake of this nutrient can lead to skin changes and hair loss, diarrhoea, recurrent infections and psychological problems.
Selenium
Selenium is an element present in small traces but essential for the body. Within cells, selenium enables cellular antioxidants to function properly. It takes part in various processes, from DNA synthesis to the metabolism of thyroid hormones, protection against infection and reproduction. Selenium deficiency can reduce skeletal muscle function, interfere with red blood cell production, alter skin and hair pigmentation and increase nail fragility.
Copper
Copper is important for the functioning of many enzymes: it is involved in energy metabolism and the production of red blood cells, bones and connective tissues. It works closely and in perfect balance with Zinc and Vitamin C to form elastin and collagen. It contributes to the proper functioning of the immune system, fertility and energy production. Enables the formation of melanin, responsible for hair and skin colouring.
